New Favorite Hiking Boots - Columbia has always had a strong
reputation when it comes to outside gear. I had bought some
clothes made from them, but never their shoes until now- I am
not disappointed in the least. They are good-looking, good
fitting and well-constructed. They are water-proofed as they
claim and they are lightweight. Also my feet did not overheat
in these shoes. After wearing worn out Hi-Tec's for years, the
ankle support (shoes actually cover ankles) offered a pleasant
surprise like an"ahh, this is what effective hiking boots are
SUPPOSED to feel like!" If you cannot tell by now, I really
like my new shoes. I hope they work for you as well as they
are fast becoming some of my best friends. Namaste.
My review of Columbia's Bonanza Peak for women. This hiking
boot is unbelievably comfortable and lightweight. I would
recommend this shoe to anyone who is a serious hiker. I am
glad I decided on this shoe and would gladly give my best
overall rating to this boot. The fit is on the money. I
ordered the same size as my street shoe size and the fit is
true.
