Comfy and Waterproof - The top strap kind of cut into my foot,
but other than that it was pretty comfortable. Wore them for
river hiking, and they worked well. Not too floaty, but not
sinky like sneakers. They smelled really bad afterward,
though.
The shoe was pretty long--I'm a regular 5 and can occasionally
wear a 5.5, but this shoe has a good inch and a half at the
top of the shoe above my toes. However, the straps are very
secure, and I feel comfortable walking in them, even though
they are a little long. I bought these shoes to be able to do
short hikes in Hawaii, and I think they will do well. Although
I haven't had them long, they seem like very sturdy shoes. I
would recommend them. They aren't the most exciting looking
pair of shoes, but they do not look elderly, as some have
commented. |
